Grohmann #4 Survival Knife Micarta Stainless Button Sheath (M4S)

The Grohmann #4 Survival Knife is a big comfortable knife for big hands. Modeled after the #1 original design. A favorite among big game hunters the world over as well as for those looking for a generous size outdoor knife. Sturdy design for those with larger hands. With the button tab sheath design, the belt loop is positioned high for comfort while sitting or riding. 

This model features a stainless steel blade with a regular grind and a black micarta handle. Regular “sabre” grind blade comes up about halfway on the blade. The regular classic grind makes for a thicker, stronger blade, and was designed ideally for hunting and skinning/dressing.

Micarta is commonly called the “steel of the plastic family” for its strength and durability and is similar to G-10. Composed of layers of linen soaked in resin, it is lightweight yet tough, has a slightly linen textured look but fairly smooth to the touch when finished.
