Grohmann #4 Survival Knife Rosewood Stainless Button Sheath (R4S)

The Grohmann #4 Survival Knife is a big comfortable knife for big hands. Modeled after the #1 original design. A favorite among big game hunters the world over as well as for those looking for a generous size outdoor knife. Sturdy design for those with larger hands. With the button tab sheath design, the belt loop is positioned high for comfort while sitting or riding. 

This model features a stainless steel blade with a regular grind and a rosewood handle. Regular “sabre” grind blade comes up about halfway on the blade. Our regular classic grind makes for a thicker, stronger blade, and was designed ideally for hunting and skinning/dressing.

Grohmann offers classic Rosewood in many beautiful variations. Ranging from deep, rosy brown to blonde strips, each handle is unique as no two handles are ever the same. Plantation grown mainly in East India, this special wood is selected for its durability, colour & rich grain. A good solid handle material that gets a better grip after use, but like any good knife with quality steel it is not recommended to be left soaking in water. Rosewood is always an excellent choice for a classic handle.
